While this is common knowledge, ironically it is often ignored by people who do not want to admit our government intentionally causes harm to minority communities. Black people have stated for years, they do not own the planes or boats that brought the drugs into the USA. He described himself as an Investigative journalist.\u00a0 \u00a0His report, Dark Alliance, got him into some deep trouble. Gary Webb died, in a motel room by suicide, according to the coroners report. Somehow, he managed to shoot himself in the head, twice.\u00a0 \u00a0The ways that all of this has impacted black people in America is still felt, more than 40 years later.\u00a0 It&#8217;s very likely that all or most of these activities are also, still occurring.\u00a0 Nothing, is being done.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Gary Webb: In His Own Words (2002) | CIA Cocaine Dark Alliance\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GJkNEtgMulw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Recently the CIA and other &#8216;intelligence agencies&#8217; are in the news again.<\/p>\n<p>Did <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-us-canada-40357357\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Russia really hack the USA or is our CIA up to more of their old tricks?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the &#8216;fake&#8217; Rick Ross recently bought a few more businesses in his home town. After creating massive success from a persona that he ripped from a real life drug dealer, should he do more for his community than buy businesses?<\/p>\n<h3><strong>I&#8217;m not knocking him, or the original Freeway Rick.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Like many, Freeway Rick saw an opportunity to make some cash, in a society that has locked black people out. He would not have been able to do it, without the connections that he came across. While he is the most well known, there are plenty more who also fell victim to the same scheme.\u00a0 So many years later, so many lives have been lost in the process.<\/p>\n<p>The struggle continues.<\/p>\n<p>So many of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.authorityhop.com\/home\/tag\/tales-from-the-hood\/\">tales from the hood<\/a> that we&#8217;ll hear in the hip hop world, are actually based on real life. The mainstream news isn&#8217;t covering it all, but a few talented individuals in each generation have continued to tell their stories.
