Earl Sweatshirt dropped an album a few years back, called I don’t Like shit, I don’t go outside. The title of the album would make it sound like it’s aimed at being anti social. Fact is, a lot of people spend too much time, going out, and not enough time going ‘in’. That’s what separates Earl Sweatshirt from the landscape of MC’s out here. He’s thoughtful, and insightful with lyrics that relate to those of us who take time to listen.<\/p>\n

The ‘beats’ are grimey as fuck, and I love how Earl rides these beats with such ease.<\/h3>\n

There aren’t many features, but all guest appearances came with what each track needed. Earl carries the album for the most part. Many say he was battling depression at the time, and may still be. It’s inspirational to see someone fighting through it, putting the pain into music. Meanwhile, let us all send good positive thoughts and vibes his way. Earl has dropped more albums since this one in 2014.\u00a0 May he continue to find happiness in this crazy world. I hope he inspires others, battling for happiness, to keep pursing it – every day.<\/p>\n
