Nevermind what Ebro says is the reason Hot97 showed him the exit this week. The real reason is Ebro being Anti-black American, taking stances against reparations. Rather than using his platform to push awareness of the debt owed to black Americans, Ebro sided with the ‘white power structure’. Black Americans, going back to as far as 2019, promised he would pay for that decision. It took a while, but here we are.
While Ebro claimed, in a video talking about his firing, that he was let go cause he’s For the black community, the opposite is true.
The black American community no longer values, nor respects what Ebro has to say.
Several businesses have been learning, as of late, that black American support matters. For several years now, black outlets have reported on the Spending Power of Black America. It would seem that as a biproduct of the delineation movement, that is underway, a more unified consumer block has also emerged. Not only are black Americans learning to only exchange their votes for specifics over vague ‘for everyone’ policies. They are also choosing to spend only with those who value and respect them.

Ebro, took to twitter, and decided to antagonize his entire Black American audience. Using his influence to undermine efforts to secure cash reparations. He was calling black people Nazis, claiming Russia was funding the efforts, as if they’d really want black people to get reparations.
I have had quite a bit to say, about Old Man Ebro being anti-black American.
Pretty foolish decision, when that’s the main demographic tuning into your radio show. When your entire career is a result of hip hop, that was created by black Americans, it’s unwise to piss them off.

He often would flat out ignore, all of the black Americans, trying to inform him of the mistake he was making. Ignored what this user explained to him, about warnings from Darren Seals on Talib Kweli. Because Ebro holds no respect for the black community. Like so many ‘culture vultures’ his goal is to ‘eat’ off of us. Elevating us is no where in the goals. Folks like Ebro actually view other black people succeeding, as ‘competition’.

Disregard all that crying, whining and lying Ebro was doing. He wasn’t let go over his anti-Israel remarks. Ebro did this to himself, by devaluing himself to the main demographic of his radio … former radio station. Losing respect of black audiences made him, and Rosenberg, disposable.
